Yeah? Good. :) I will. I’ll pop up at your doorstep at the most random-est of times, so be prepared.
I’ll be sure to keep the place clean at all times, then. And I know that’ll be a chore, living with Ev…
It’d be one thing if we were both going to college, but we’re not. You’re going to school and I’m working full time, which makes school your job.
Fine… if you insist. But if we end up having issues with money, I’m going to look for a job on campus or something.
Come on Kurt, don’t look so sad! We’re taking one step closer to going off on our own and pursuing our dreams. Isn’t that exciting?
Don’t you even apologize, silly. We’re absolutely okay. And seriously, come and visit whenever, Ev and I would love to have you come by. Don’t be a stranger.
No, you need to be focusing on school. Between classwork and the shows you’re gonna be doing, you tack a job onto that and you’re not even gonna have any time to breathe. If it comes to that, I can just…I dunno, work extra hours or something.
That’s so not fair. I want to be able to help pay for things at least a little bit…
Thanks! So, have you decided what you’re doing and all that?
Oh yeah, I’ve known for a long time now. I’m going to a school that’s very heavily focused on Dramatic Arts and pursuing a career in theater- Broadway eventually, hopefully, but we’ll see.
That’s not a bad idea. I really liked that place close to the school, but it’s kinda pricy. I guess we’ll just have to see which one wins us over.
Yeah, me too. And like I said before, I can always take up a part-time job if I need to. I’d rather do that then live somewhere we can’t stand.
That’s good advice, Blaine. I’ll have to keep that in mind.
Good luck on figuring it out! A lot of people have a hard time deciding, so don’t feel bad about taking your time.
For real. We still need to make a decision on the apartment, and we need to look at used cars, too. And rent a U-Haul so we can take all our shit to New York.
Maybe before we head back to Ohio, we should make a trip to the city and check out a few of the places I talked about. I think we can do the other stuff in the time we have at home.
A little. But not like… any serious thought. I just don’t know what I want to spend the rest of my life doing.
Just think about what you love to do, and chances are you can make some kind of career out of it.
